Elyse Goldberg has over 30 years of experience in the contemporary art field, having a master in Fine Art and Human Relations.

Goldberg started her gallery career in the early 1980s at Susan Caldwell Gallery, moving on to the legendary John Weber Gallery, becoming Co-Director, in ‘85, where she first began working with the Estate of Robert Smithson engaging closely with Nancy Holt, artist and wife of Robert Smithson.

Over the years she has worked extensively with museum curators and artists and their works such as as Leon Golub, Sol LeWitt, Alice Aycock, Mel Kendrick, Victor Burgin, Hans Haacke, Nancy Holt, Adrian Piper, Yinka Shonibare, Fred Tomaselli, Allan McCollum, Roxy Paine, Bill Viola, Nancy Holt, Robert Smithson, Alison Elizabeth Taylor, Ingrid Calame to name just a few, organizing exhibitions, placing work in public and private institutions internationally, as well as developing and managing commissions for private and public collections, and collaborated on publications related to artists exhibitions.
