Angelica Olstad

Angelica Olstad is a classically trained pianist, yoga and meditation teacher, and interdisciplinary artist who creates music-driven experiences through storytelling and neuroaesthetics to create accessible and immersive artistic experiences. As a mixed-race artist, she is deeply committed to promoting intercultural belonging and working to create inclusive healing arts experiences for diverse audiences. She believes that the arts serve as a form of care culture—a vital source of healing, connection, and transformation. Through science-informed research and experimental storytelling, Angelica crafts multisensory works that invite audiences to engage with art, music, and wellness in deeply personal and restorative ways. Olstad’s work aims to foster collective healing and build inclusive communities through artistic interventions into public space. Olstad has produced events in venues ranging from juvenile detention centers to major music festivals, and has worked with major brands like Samsung, Meta, Reebok, W Hotels, and Google. She has performed at centers like Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Melbourne Recital Center and was the recipient of a 2024 NYSCA Artist Grant for her project, Music for Healing and a 2025 Brooklyn Arts Council Grant
